1. Question: What is a FlipBlog?
Ans: A FlipBlog is a Weblog Engine developed by E-Book Systems
using its unique proprietary 3D flipping presentation method.
Each blog post can comprise of text and multimedia such as MP3,
Midi, Images and even Video. These entries are then compiled and
presented in the 3D flipping format, laid out in unique flipping
pages.
2. Question: Can I create more than 1 FlipBlog?
Ans: Yes, you can create more than 1 FlipBlog. Each of these FlipBlog
will be given a unique web address, like philips.FlipBlog.com,
etc. Each user can have as many FlipBlog as he/she wants, and
all of them can be accessed via a single unique login id.
3. Question: Can I upload Image/Audio/Video
files into FlipBlog?
Ans: Currently we do not support hosting of these files. However
you can choose to host the files on another server and provide
a direct URL to the hosted files. FlipBlog will display the files.
4. Question: What is the difference between
the Advanced Viewer Version and Quick Launch Version?
Ans: The Advanced Viewer requires a software viewer to be downloaded
and installed, while the Quick Launch version does not require
a download but instead runs on your browser only. The Advanced
Viewer allows you to open other Flipbooks created using products
from E-Book Systems and have the features of Rapid Multiple Page
Flipping, background music support, Auto Flipping and Page Timing
among other useful features. Some of these features are not ready
on the FlipBlog yet, but will be added as it matures.
5. Question: How do I share my FlipBlog
with my family and friends?
Ans: Currently, you can share your FlipBlog with your family and
friends by sending them the web address you have specified during
the creation of the FlipBlog. Development is underway to simplify
the method of sharing your FlipBlog.
6. Question: Why is the editor not showing
properly on the Mac Platform?
Ans: We are currently looking into this issue. While the toolbars
are not showing properly on the Mac Platform, you can still directly
add HTML tags to spice up your page.
